Doncaster Business Conference Talks Export

The Doncaster Business Conference is now one of Doncaster Chamberís annual flagship events to explore the current economic climate and what it means for Doncaster's future.

The Doncaster Business Conference is now one of Doncaster Chamber's annual flagship events to explore the current economic climate and what it means for Doncaster's future.

Starting with breakfast, the morning will include optimum networking opportunities, two panel discussions, key note speeches, and ‘In conversation with…':

Panel 1 – The Northern Powerhouse:
Connectivity, Logistics and Technology, a collective force to rival the South

The first panel debate will be around the Northern Powerhouse and devolution, what that looks like for significant towns like Doncaster and the added value that it can offer to the region.

Panel 2 – Place Marketing: Inward Investment, Export and Doncaster's place in the World

The second panel discussion will focus on place marketing; how Doncaster is represented regionally and nationally and how this impacts international trade and export, inward investment and tourism.

‘In Conversation With…' – Skills and Aspirations for Doncaster

The third theme to be discussed will look into skills and aspirations, how to inspire and link young people to the work and study opportunities in Doncaster.

Local Enterprise Partnership update: Nigel Brewster (Vice Chairman)

Key Note Speech
Gori Yahaya, head of training and development for the Digital Garage from Google, will explain the cornerstones of digital marketing, and how to use online marketing tools to be more visible to prospective customers.
